2018 has been a great year for music so far, with many artists releasing new, innovative and dynamic sounds that push the boundaries of genre: while still staying true to their styles and sharing with us some highly anticipated releases that have definitely lived up to their name.
Ambient music may not be for everyone, but the pure, beautiful intricacies of the genre cannot be denied regardless of whether one is an avid fan or not. The ways in which artists layer sounds and textures to create beautiful immersive soundscapes is an incredible skill that deserves to be celebrated.
