20 Intriguing Album Art of 2018 (So Far)

By Jenna Dreisenstock

An album’s artwork is what makes the first impression of a new release, even though it’s definitely unfair to ‘judge a book by its cover’. We can’t assume what the tracks of the album sound like just by it’s album art, however the artwork is the most eye-catching part of the release. The artwork doesn’t determine the quality of the album – the visual art of the music world plays an integral part of catching a listener’s eye though: and can often lead to new discoveries for those who have a keen eye for different art styles.

We have collected just a few of our favourite album artworks from this year; showing the 20 eye-catching pieces we personally find intriguing. If we are unable to find an artists credit, please let us know if you recognise the work and can give us the artist’s name.
