Twin Peaks’ David Lynch To Curate Festival Of Disruption

Festival Of Disruption, an initiative by American screenwriter, producer and artist David Lynch, will be held at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on 14 -15 October.

The aim of the festival is to raise funds and awareness for The David Lynch Foundation, which is dedicated to eradicating post-traumatic stress through Transcendental Meditation. The foundation was started by Lynch in 2005 as a platform for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace  – to ensure that every child anywhere in the world who wanted to learn to meditate could do so. Now, the Foundation is actively teaching TM to adults and children in countries everywhere.

Festival Of Disruption will feature performances by Bon Iver, The Kills, TV On The Radio, Sharon Van Etten, Laura Marling, Reggie Watts, Moby DJ set and Obey Giant DJ Set. It will also host a meditation workshop with Brian Eno’s Reflection, screenings of various Lynch short films and talks with Twin Peaks collaborators Duwayne Dunham, Dean Hurley, Johanna Ray and Gary D’ Amico,
