Karin Dreijer Andersson, best known for fronting Swedish electro-pop duo The Knife, has just announced a follow up to her first solo album under the moniker Fever Ray.
After posting some teaser material and hinting at a sophomore follow up, Fever Ray have just premiered the first single and accompanying video from the album titled ‘To The Moon And Back‘.
Directed by Martin Falck, the video is a similarly styled, BDSM-inspired, sci-fi scenario akin to that of previous teaser material. Although the plot is more Frankenstein-esque than one might assume, ‘To The Moon And Back‘ definitely balances it’s eclecticism with gleaming synthesizers and Andersson’s playful, yet lush vocal work.
