Sónar Festival 2018 have just announced the first 30 acts for its 25th edition.
Located in Barcelona, Spain, the festival will run from June 14th-16th. Scheduled performances include LCD Soundsystem, Laurent Garnier, Helena Hauff, Maribou State, Black Coffee, Ólafur Arnalds, Lorenzo Senni, Wiley, Diplo, Tony Humphries, Bonobo, Daedelus, Príncipe affiliate Nídia and the hugest surprise of all – Gorillaz are set to play their first concert in the city in over five years!
Artists such as Bicep, George FitzGerald and Richie Hawtin are also scheduled to perform live.
Steve Goodman, aka Kode9 is also confirmed to appear alongside prolific animator Koji Morimoto for an RBMA-hosted program based on the Diggin’ In The Carts project series, influenced and fueled by early Japanese video game music.
