New-Wave icon Gary Numan Cancels Shows After Tour Bus Fatality

On Monday the 24th of September, a fatal accident occurred as legendary new-wave icon Gary Numan was travelling on tour in Cleveland, Ohio.

Unfortunately, Numan’s tour bus struck an elderly man which resulted in the man’s death. Numan released a statement cancelling the show he was scheduled to play that night at the House of Blues in Cleveland – stating that they simply could not play that night after this tragic incident, as it would would be disrespectful.

After much reflection and mourning, the tour is back on and continued in Louisville, Kentucky, with Numan issuing another statement –

Our sincere condolences go out to everyone involved, and we hope the tour continues smoothly as they always have.
