Pop star Grimes recently shared a new song via her Instagram. The singer shared that she wrote and produced the track called Love last week in response to “all the privacy invasion, bad press, online hate and harassment by paparazzis I’ve experienced this week.”
This follows Elon Musk’s recent statements to Page Six, reporting that he and Grimes were “semi-separated.” Musk and Grimes have a child together, and the singer openly discussed their relationship last year during her press junket for her last album Miss Anthropocene.
Grimes has recently been teasing new music, having previously shared details on her next project which she reported will be a “space opera” following a queer AI entity called CLAIRE DE LUNE. She shared the tracks Shinigami Eyes and 100 Percent Tragedy on social media, and has recently stated that she is in the process of adding the finishing touches to the album. A release date for the project is yet to be confirmed.
