Convergence Festival has added new acts to their 2015 line-up. Inga Copeland, Dorian Concept, Gazelle Twin and Digits are the latest artists to join this year’s bill. Marshmallow Laser Feast, Scanner, Leafcutter John and Langham Research Centre have also been confirmed to take part in Convergence Sessions: a series of discussions and workshops that to be looking into the future of music industry and audio production and innovation in multimedia, digital art and live music visuals.
Curator, Glenn Max has this to say about the event:
“This year Convergence expands into new venues including Royal Festival Hall and Kachette on Old Street. And for the first time presents pioneering legends like George Clinton and Gary Numan. With its emphasis on live performance, new music, spontaneity, collaboration and one-off experimentation, Convergence seeks to promote intuition from its artists and inspire wonder in its audiences. I’m thrilled to present such a rich array of era-defining artists and honoured to offer this event to London as an inclusive, dynamic dialogue about our shape-shifting cultural epoch.”
Convergence Festival will be taking place 12 – 21 March 2015. For tickets and more information click here.
