Ezra Furman, Polar Bear, This Is The Kit, Meadow Lark, Scott Matthews, The Payroll Union, Eastern Seaboard Radio Station will now be joining GoGo Penguin, Diagrams, Hidden Orchestra and FURS to complete the Folk Forest stage line up at Sheffield’s Tramlines festival.
Tramlines is one of the UK’s biggest inner-city music festivals. In 2014, it attracted 100,000 people as the festival took over the entire city centre across four outdoor stages and 15 venues.
Headliners for Tramlines 2015 include The Charlatans, Basement Jaxx, and Wu Tang Clan, with support from heavyweights Billy Bragg, Buzzcocks, Martha Reeves and Sugarhill Gang. Also on the bill are Roman Flugel, Erol Alkan, Gilles Peterson, James Holden, Evian Christ, A Guy Called Gerald, Slaves, Lonelady, Dutch Uncles, Marika Hackman, Kate Tempest and hundreds more.
Venues on the festival circuit include the o2 Academy, the Leadmill, The Night Kitchen, the Cathedral, Foundry, Fusion, and The Octagon Centre, The Harley, Hope Works, Millennium Gallery, City Hall, Corporation, Queens Social Club and Yellow Arch Studios. Outdoor stages include the Main Stage at Ponderosa Park, the Exposed In Session Stage on Devonshire Green while The Folk Forest arena will be in Endcliffe Park.
