Avant-pop star and producer Arca has announced the follow up to her lauded album KiCK i, titled KICK ii. The news comes alongside the release of a new single and music video from the upcoming album, Born Yesterday which features Sia. The unexpected collaboration sees Sia lend her signature epic pop hooks and sweeping choruses to Arca’s syncopated glitch-pop. The music video, as well as KICK ii’s album art, is created by digital artist Frederik Heyman.
Since being nominated for the Best Electronic/Dance Album Grammy for KiCK i, Arca has released a number of side projects. These recently include a remix of Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s Rain On Me for Gaga’s Dawn of Chromatica remix album and the track Incendio which was initially expected to appear on KICK ii but is absent from the album’s track list.
KICK ii is slated for release on December 3 via XL Recordings. See the full track list and album art below.
