Boiler Room has announced the return of Boiler Room Festival this year. For the 2021 edition, the festival will take place in three editions held in three cities across the world; London, New York and Barcelona.
In keeping with the zeitgeist, Boiler Room’s festival will be a combination of live, in real life events and online live-streams. All of the live events will be broadcast online, but a separate digital programme will be run concurrently. There will be no major headliners, with Boiler Room instead working with local collectives and crews in their respective cities.
The London edition will take place over the course of 4 nights, with each night having a different theme based on music and genre. From October 13-16, they are: “Jazz Mind,” “Rap Fantasy,” “System Sound” and “Club.” The New York edition happens on September 10th, and Barcelona from 26-27 November. Across the three editions, the programme is a mix of live music, DJ sets, film screenings and panel discussions. More details are expected to be announced soon. Boiler Room Festival 2021 is supported by their sponsors, Absolute, Ballentine’s, Jameson and Beefeater.
