Her first full-length release since 2010’s ‘Body Talk’, Swedish electropop icon Robyn’s new album is titled ‘Honey’ and will be released October 26. This will be Robyn’s eighth album and features recent single ‘Missing U‘, as well as the title track which appeared in HBO’s Girls. In February of this year, Robyn cryptically revealed that her latest album would be released “some time this year honey” and has subsequently shared more information thereon during her appearance at Red Bull Music Academy Festival. Fans knew that a release date was close when Robyn put out a short film for her new single from the upcoming album, ‘Missing U’.

Robyn describes the new album’s mood as, “this sweet place, like a very soft ecstasy” and explained that: “I danced a lot when I was making it. I found a sensuality and a softness that I don’t think I was able to use in the same way before. Everything just became softer.”

The whole process of making this album was been very, very different from anything I’ve done before,” Robyn said earlier this year. “I felt very raw when I started making this album.”
