Kendrick Lamar has been hard at work reviving funk and jazz, and his latest endeavor involves visuals for a remix of Parliament-Funkadelic‘s “Ain’t That Funkin’ Hard On You?” with Ice Cube.
The video sees Kendrick and co as aliens taking the viewers on a psychedelic journey, exactly they way the funk gods would have wanted. With an added touch of LA’s heart and soul, the result hits music listeners and California natives hard and is an impossible to hate piece.
