Shortly after the release of Edapollo’s debut album Endless Cascades in 2019, the native UK multi-disciplinary artist shared ‘Gold Light’ featuring fellow Melbourne-based musician Akacia. Mazoulew has now contributed the second remix of ‘Gold Light’, after the feel-good house remix from Hessian out of Bristol, UK. The fresh rework from Mazoulew turns up the heat, adding palpable energy while maintaining the laid-back emotive appeal of the original.
Sharing some insight into the collaboration, Mazoulew said:
“I’ve been rolling in similar circles to Ed for a while now and when I first heard his record I instantly fell in love with it, the composition and arrangement was beautiful. I knew there was some room to maneuver with it in terms of taking it into the dancefloor but I was very conscious to retain its elegance and beauty.”
