Singer and music producer Margot has released her anticipated debut EP Make It Last via Pink Bikini Records. Margot is a classically trained musician but cites a diverse range of influences to the music that she has released as of late (Erykah Badu, H.E.R., Raveena, Ari Lennox, Frank Ocean and Rihanna). The EP was produced by Frank Slimm (Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Maevis, Slowlines) and features renowned guitarists Andy Bunting and Jamie Chalmers. Make It Last is a sultry and fun EP, which is light on the heart and mind. Margot is an act to follow with her charming vocals on the EP that can absorb the listener for its entire duration.

Margot reveals a bit on the origins of the EP: “I was chatting to my producer and going over some of the material we had written and I realised that we had more than enough to do an EP and it just felt like the right time to put my name on something bigger than just a single. My good friend Andy Bunting played bass on three of the tracks, and our mutual friend Jamie Chalmers put guitar on the closing track as well. We recorded most of the tracks over lockdown so we had to do it all over email and sending guitar takes and vocal takes backwards and forwards, but it came out perfectly, and it was definitely a unique creative experience!”
