London DJ and producer SHERELLE will be the next artist to contribute to fabric’s ongoing fabric presents mix series. The BEAUTIFUL label head and Hooversound founder will join a roster of artists including Overmono and Motor City Drum Ensemble when she releases a mix and compilation album for the London institution. According to fabric, SHERELLE’s compilation is expected to feature tracks from Tim Reaper, DJ Rashad and LCY in a “breakneck exploration of all things footwork, jungle and bass: a high-tempo ride uniting the past, present and future of dance music.” The compilation will also feature a brand new track from SHERELLE called JUNGLE TEKNAH.
The compilation will be launched with an event at fabric on November 5th, headlined by SHERELLE who also co-curates the lineup for the night. Joining her will be Micky Finn, Krust (Live), Luke Vibbert, Kessler and “a very special guest.”
“It’s a dream to have been asked to create a fabric compilation,” said SHERELLE in a statement. “It’s the first place I went to when I was 18. It was the first mix series that captured my heart when listening to Caspa and Rusko FABRICLIVE. I had it on repeat for months on end and it’s what led me to the club four years later. It’s a serious honour to be a part of the lineage of fabric.”
The compilation will be released on CD, 2x vinyl and digital on November 5th. You can pre-order it here. Tickets for the launch event, FABRICLIVE: fabric presents SHERELLE Compilation Launch are available here.
