Next year, influential goth-rockers The Cure are set to celebrate their fortieth (!!!) year as a band. To commemorate such an achievement, the band are set to perform a two-hour long headlining show in London’s Hyde Park on July 7th, apparently marking this occasion as their only European show of 2018. Joining Robert Smith and co on stage will be the likes of post-punk and shoegaze favourites, Interpol, Goldfrapp, Slowdive, Ride, The Twilight Sad and Editors, who are set to open up the event before the much anticipated highlight of the evening.
It’s also been ten years since The Cure released their latest hypnotic album, 4:13 Dream, marking yet another anniversary to celebrate.
