Lapalux has gained considerable critical attention by combining dark, twisted R&B beats with experimental ambient sounds. His work is reminiscent of Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing, Shlohmo, Mount Kimbie and Shigeto, yet remains engagingly unique.
