While we always strive to stay up to date with the industry and create the most relevant content possible, it never hurts to take a look back and see if we missed anything. This is how we can uncover previously undiscovered gems such as Wolf Saga’s self-titled album, released late last year. The artist strikes a unique balance – on a quest to make listeners dance but also highlight serious causes within modern society, including Black Lives Matter and support for Indigenous land defenders.

The album features an array of outstanding tracks, including ‘Get Back’ (inspired by those ever-persistent creeps at the club) and ‘Alice In Nowhereland’ (which explores the dangers of becoming engrossed in social media). However, ‘Fall Out’ has been marking itself as one to watch, sneakily climbing its way into peoples hearts. Based on dysfunctional relationships and the complexities they entail, Wolf Saga has cleverly left room for reinterpretation in his lyrics.

It seemed to be the one song that kept being put on hold due to “real life” happening, but it kept calling me back to work on it.
